about
"Ativan" is a unique sonic window into the early days of what fans of Together Pangea were eventually drawn to. Originally intended as the first solo song for frontman William Keegan during the pandemic and DYE album sessions, the single quickly became something that William and the rest of the band felt needed to be released under the Together Pangea moniker to reach their entire fanbase. The track which is the first single off of the upcoming Misery EP is a perfect snapshot into what anxiety has always felt like for the singer and the group, before, during and after the COVID-19 pandemic; which the song and EP were born out of.
lyrics
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Settle down, make a plan
Live it down, with Ativan
In my mind a sudden crash
Broken teeth and shattered glass
